Dips? Really...How does one get into dips? Well it all starts with an idea. Then your significant other tells you you’re nuts and you come up with a dip company idea, and the rest is history.

Speaking of history, dips date back to the early 1800's when Sir Dipshire the Third first dipped a carrot into some sour cream and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hence, dips were created and the villagers danced, rejoiced, ate dips and lived happily ever after.

Of course none of that is true, but would be pretty cool if it was. In reality, Lil Big Dip Co. was created over many years of socializing and hosting events. This pushed me to create new food ideas for my friends and family. Dips have always been a “go to” for me and it seemed like the dip game needed something new and fresh. Lil Big Dip Co. has created a variety of dips that have great flavours and are different then what you might usually see at your local grocer.

About Us

Who is Kevin O'Neill? Why is he so darn good at making dips?

Hi, I'm Kevin O'Neill and I am The Master of Dips. I have always loved to entertain friends and family. That meant feeding them as well. My first job when I was 12 years old was at a little restaurant in Lantzville, BC. My passion for food and cooking began then.

I continued to work in the restaurant business for all my teenage years and into my early 20's. I met my beautiful wife Alexis when we were 24 and decided to go in a different direction with my career.

For the past 20 years I have been in construction, building homes on Vancouver Island. Now that my kids are grown up and things are different financially I am able to get back to my true love.... dips. I love to create new tastes and flavours for people to enjoy.
